Good performance. EDIT: I have no comment regarding note reading, since I too haven't played it yet on the violin... however scanning through Op.45 #9 I can say there are times the sound you produce are uneven, some notes would just jump out, maybe that is what you refer to as "String crossing: di pa malinis."
I have th same problem before during string crossing[iyan ba ung pag lipat ng strings?] my instructor told me when crossing from E-D, A-D & D- G my wrist will have to raise first and the elbow will follow + the wrist must retain its angle. Vice versa the elbow will go down first then the wrist will follow. it will produce even sound and volume if done properly. As far as book1 #9 goes, I don't see any notations that indicates changes in volume unless of course you are giving your own expressions to the piece which is good actually.
Keep it up! at nainganya na rin ako umpisahan itong WohlFart Op.45

@tailblaiser: Yes, it's string crossing. I need to work it up especially sa fast passages. Very tricky siya when one plays allegro.
Yung changes is in volume ko is of my own invention. I have a habit of putting expressions sa etude to make it more interesting. Sometimes one can even use a different bowing style with etudes...so the possibilities are endless. :-)

I think yung pag play ng etudes with variations does equip the violinist to play yung mga pieces. if we strip a classical piece of the dynamics and haripins etc....we will be left with just plain repetition of notes.
One example is yung Beethoven's Violin Concerto. Sabi ng isang violinist parang nag pla play lang sya nga scales at descant kasi yung main theme is played by the orchestra. Hehe...

sa baroque music kasi ... everything is just a "skeleton" ... puro framework lng... nasa soloist and sa orchestra nakasalalay ang pag"imbento" ng details, extra articulation at embellishments ... ^_^

kaya yung ibang Etudes ... nilalagyan ko ng embellishments like trills ... ^_^
pero pag madaliang practice ... hindi ko na nilalagyan .... lalo kasi magkakaeffort at pampatagal din... ^_^
