| i'm OK with the OLIN shoulder rest from JB Music. :)
it's made of plastic so if you're not choosy, OK na. di lang siya collapsible but adjustable yung both ends. it's a bit high though, sa tantsa ko. ngayon nga mas madalas ako magpractice without the shoulder rest. :) soft and comfy naman yung padding niya. after all these years, hindi pa nafa-flatten and wala pang wear masyado yung foam/padding. |

| I'm happy with no shoulder rest at all! Sensya na, couldn't resist joining. hehe. Pero really, its very comfortable, at very convenient, kasi wala nang kinakabit or tinatanggal, tapos wala pang nasisira. |

| Yung FOM brand ng shoulder rest, mukhang maganda... Sino gumagamit nito sa forum? Mukhang matibay, adjustable ng konti, pero you can lock the attachments...
Anyone ever tried yung wooden shoulder rests from Lyric? Maganda tingnan, pero medyo namamahalan ako =) |

| I was able to buy a FOM Shoulder rest for around P570 or so. Metal plate, over which the foam is glued. Fully adjustable, and looks very durable. It comes in a red/brown box, although there are no instructions, but its quite easy to figure out.
Each of the attaching arms have a clamp with which you can fix the position/angle of the rest as it attaches to the violin.
I think this will last quite a long time, as its metal (although painted black to match the foam of the shoulder rest)... Very comfortable, I can highly recommend it...
I bought this at the Lyric branch in Alabang, but when I dropped by the main branch at Horseshoe Vil., they had a lot in stock...
Happy New Year to all!!!

Picture Nmn po Please! Hi Kanji, and all!!! Here are a few pics: I bought two rests: the one above is for 1/4 to 1/2 size, the one below is the one I'm using, good for 3/4, 4/4 or Viola As you can see, there are two "switches" or clamps for adjusting the rest So you can shorten... Or lengthen... And it is also height adjustable... Here's a view of it on my Hofner... To adjust the height, there is a screw thread on the attachment arms... And a view from behind... Well, I hope this was helpful. The shoulder rest costs P570 at Lyric. I got mine at the Horseshoe Village branch... The smaller one, I bought at the Trinoma branch... Happy New Year, by the way!!!
