| Mga sir/ma'am, anu po kayang remedyo sa peg ng A string ko? Parati na lang po kasing naa-out of tune. Nadali lang ng konti mawawala na kagad sa tono. Yung ibang pegs naman po hindi ganun. |

| nag-loloose ung peg mu nyan, tanggalin mu muna ung peg then pahiran mu ng chalk ung part na may contact sa peg box holes...... tapos diinan mu slightly lng para sumikip.......
ganyan din nangyari sa akin.... actually ung violin ko nung una parating nawawala sa tune, solusyon na ginawa ko, medyo konting applied pressure lng habang sinisikipan....
pakiramdaman mu lng ung pagsikip ng pegs, baka maputol... so far di pa naman ako nakakaputol ng peg |

| One can also use yung powdered rosin kung walang chalk.  |

| @clowreed: Yup...basta make sure na powder yung rosin. You can do it easily with your hands kasi yung rosin is quite fragile. Another thing: start applying with a very small amount ng rosin because it very potent as a peg "dope". :-) |

kiskisan mo ng chalk for loose pegs and graphite(a.k.a Pencil Lead) for stiff pegs.. after applying either of the two, kapag ibabalik mo na yun pegs, gently (DEFINE GENTLY) push the pegs inside while turning it. kapag tatangalin mo naman TURN AND GENTLY PULL out the pegs,

| @fox: haha.... actually nabasa ko na rin ung suggestion ni jan noon pa..... naalala ko lng saka ndi ako sure na pwede nga un.... haha..... napansin ko rin na may part ung rosin na nagccrack talaga..... which is pwede palang gamitin for loose pegs.... hehe..... speaking of chalk, may nakita akong DUSTLESS CHALK sa Nat'l Bookstore last time, gs2 ko sana subukan kung dustless nga... kaso ang mahal eh, 35 ung isang box.... ahahaha..... |
