Bought a box of baking soda yesterday because I heard that it decreases humidity.

True ba ito?

I microwaved some rice grains last night. 3 cycles - 2 cycle for 20 seconds at 100% power. Then 1 cycle 30 seconds at 100% power. Then I put the grains inside a cloth sachet then put it inside my case...

What surprised me is how potent the rice grains are. From humidity of 68% it went down to 54%.
