Q: Shoulder rest

Advantages: Mas madali mag vibrato. For me nagreresonate yung sound, Kasi pag walang shoulder rest inaabsorb ng shoulder mo yung sound coming from the violin.naobserbahan ko lang

Disadvantages: Wala naman so far.
Pero since nagsimula ako ng walang shoulder rest, ngayon sobrang naninibago ako. Nagaadjust pa ako na may shoulder rest.



May balak akong mag upgrade ng bow.
Carbon fiber sana. Ano kaya ang advantages at disadvantages nun?

Sobrang Tibay, swak na swak para sa student.. no worries kahit bumagsak.. wag lang dead straight drop ha.. hehehe magaan.. Pwedeng makuha ang "feel" ng high class bow..


disadvantages:

ano ba mas mabigat jeje. yung carbon fiber o yung wooden bow?

ADvatange: matibay, hindi prone sa wrappage ng camber. LIvely ang sound

Disadvantage: medyo mahal nga, pero mas mahal pa rin yun magandang wooden bow. Mas maganda ang dynamics ng Wooden bow versus sa CF bow

With regards sa weight at price, would depends sa balance ng bow at weight din.

Lastly, make sure na iloosen mo mabuti yun horse hair after use(I mean super loose) kasi since super rigid ng carbon fiber bow, mas mabilis mag worn out yun hair unlike sa wooden bow.
